Marco Island Center for the Arts Announces Exciting New Spring and Summer Programming at the Arts Center Theatre
Marco Island, FL – March 25, 2025 – The Marco Island Center for the Arts announces an exciting lineup of spring and summer productions at its Arts Center Theatre. From comedy to improv to unforgettable performances, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
New Spring and Summer Productions Include:
- Friday, April 16, 2025: Peter Fogel returns to the Marco Island Stage with his hilarious one-man show, “This Too Shall Pass…Like a Kidney Stone”, for two performances at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. A humorous and heartwarming performance, Fogel’s storytelling has audiences laughing, crying, and reflecting.
- Friday, April 18, 2025: Jon Stetson, the master mentalist, will host a unique “Ladies Only Psychic Party” at the Arts Center Theatre. This engaging and fun-filled event promises to be an unforgettable experience!
- May 2-11, 2025: “Famlet” by local playwright Alex “Hubba” Costello will take the stage. A modern domestic comedy with references to Shakespeare’s most notorious dysfunctional families, “Famlet” follows a young couple expecting their first child, navigating family dynamics with humor and wit.
- June 28, August 2, and September 20, 2025: Stage 2 Improv, the popular Naples-based improv group, returns to Marco Island for three performances. Their unique brand of unscripted comedy, fueled by audience suggestions, promises laughter and surprises.
- Encore Series: Returning favorites from last season, the Encore Series includes:
- July 24 & 25, 2025 at 7:30 PM and July 26 & 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM: “Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End” – A comedic and touching portrayal of the iconic humorist Erma Bombeck.
- August 6, 2025: Peter Fogel returns with “Til Death Do Us Part…You First” at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, delivering another round of laughter and insight.
- August 28 & 29, 2025: “The Swingset” by Krystyn Estes will return for a limited engagement.
