Marco Island Center for the Arts Presents Marc Camoletti’s Hilarious French Farce Boeing Boeing
February 19, 2025, Marco Island: The Marco Island Center for the Arts is excited to announce the upcoming production of Boeing Boeing, Marc Camoletti’s uproarious 1960 French farce, translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. This critically acclaimed comedy, which won a new generation of fans through its award-winning 2008 Broadway revival, will run from March 5 to March 23, 2025 at the Arts Center Theatre. Directed by Kelly Rossberg, the production promises to deliver a delightful dose of laughs and mayhem.
Set in Paris during the swinging ’60s, Boeing Boeing follows Bernard, a charming playboy who has perfected the art of juggling relationships with three beautiful flight attendants from different countries. With the help of his diligent housekeeper Berthe, Bernard maintains a carefully planned schedule to keep his fiancées unaware of each other. However, when his long-lost friend Robert visits and a new Boeing jet introduces flight schedule changes, Bernard’s meticulous world begins to unravel, leading to hilarious and unexpected turbulence.
