Divorzio all'Italiana (Divorce Italian Style) 1962 Dark comedy / Satire 104 minutes

This is a classic of Italian Film making, satirizing Sicilian macho Catholic life starring Marcello Mastroianni at his absolute best. With divorce illegal, Fefe, a married, bored aristocrat, is unable to wed his 16-year-old niece. Growing increasingly desperate, he devises an elaborate and comic scheme to eliminate his wife. To say his plan goes awry, would be an understatement of epic proportions. The winner of an Academy Award, 2 Golden Globes, numerous other awards and an honored place on the Italian Heritage list of 100 Italian Films that must be saved, there is no better way to end our film series.
