Naples Garden Club presents The Garden Tourist’s Florida- Jana Milbocker

On February 5 Jana Milbocker will guide us on a fantastic arm-chair tour of over 80 diverse Florida gardens featured in her book, The Garden Tourist's Florida, published in 2021. From the plantation-style gardens of northern Florida to the private Edens of artists, botanical collections of world-renowned plant hunters, and European-inspired estates of Miami, there is something for every gardener to enjoy on this tour of our state.  Outstanding botanical gardens, historic estates, butterfly gardens and zoos, specialty nurseries, and off-the-beaten-path destinations are some of the unique experiences Florida offers and will tempt all to plan a visit to newly discovered gardens. 

Jana Milbocker is a landscape designer, the principal of Enchanted Gardens, a lecturer and author. She combines horticulture, design, and travel tips to educate, inspire and delight both new and seasoned gardeners. When she is not giving tours and lectures on gardens around the world, she loves to visit gardens and historic sites in the U.S. and abroad, and share her trips through her books, photos, and a blog.

Trained as a graphic designer, Jana brings years of critical design thinking, clarity, and cohesiveness to her landscape solutions. Her professional experience includes twenty-five years as an art director and designer. Jana holds a BFA from Syracuse University, an MBA from Boston College, and coursework in horticulture and landscape design.
