Opening Reception to Folklore, Fish Tales, & Family Stories at Museum of the Everglades

Join us after hours at Museum of the Everglades as we celebrate the opening of this collaborative exhibit and the student contributions that made it possible. Friends of Museum of the Everglades have generously offered $1500 in cash prizes for student submissions to the “Folklore, Fish Tales, & Family Stories” exhibit. Prizes will be awarded to contest winners across three different age groups. Submissions will be judged on content, creativity, and a variety of other considerations with multiple prizes in each category. Students, parents, and families as well as the general public are invited to attend this celebration of the school’s support of our history and heritage initiative while enjoying our new exhibit featuring contributions from our local kids. Awards will be presented promptly at 6pm.
