Collier County's desirable coast reaches its zenith at Barefoot Beach Preserve, where numerous animal species reside and visitors are able to enjoy the ambience of the park's natural surroundings.  Barefoot Beach Preserve is 342 acres of natural land, one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida's Southwest coast.  Visit Friends of Barefoot Beach Preserve Website.

Barefoot Beach Access is located 20 feet off Bonita Beach Road on Lely Barefoot Boulevard the access provides an open, peaceful location for sunbathers. Barefoot Beach Preserve Park is located just South of this access point. Just North is Bonita Beach Park.

Barefoot Beach Preserve Is Closed Until Further Notice

Named one of America's Top Ten Beaches by Dr. Beach. Numerous animal species reside in this natural setting including the land-dwelling gopher tortoise and a variety of sea turtles that nest on the beach. Visitors are able to enjoy the ambience of the park's quiet, pristine surroundings. The park includes nature trails, estuary waters and a long stretch of natural beach. Restroom facilities are available and there is a concession with rental beach equipment and food and drinks. There is a pavilion as well.
