Capt. John Stark

Capt. John Stark specializes in fishing the shallow waters of Southwest Florida from Fort Myers (Pine Island Sound), Estero (Estero Bay), Naples, Marco Island (10,000 Islands), Everglades City, and Chokoloskee (Everglades National Park). Some of the most amazing expanses of shallow water bays, creeks and flats exist along this stretch of Southwest Florida. It's viewing tailing redfish along oyster encrusted shorelines, large sharks, laid up snook in ultra shallow water, and rolling and laid up tarpon in unknown lakes.

It is also explosive strikes in quiet shallow areas where the catching is secondary to the many encounters of fish and wildlife below and above the water line. We will match the rods and line along with the flies and lures to best match the different situations we encounter.
