The mission of Shakespeare in Paradise is to create quality professional theatre that celebrates the power, beauty and transcendence of language and theater. While Shakespeare in Paradise will concentrate on the works of William Shakespeare, we also endeavor to celebrate the works of other playwrights, who like Shakespeare himself, explore themes, life, and the human experience in theatrical and literary terms. Shakespeare in Paradise will establish and foster a professional ensemble of our best local actors, directors and designers in the hopes of enhancing our local culture by drawing the best professional artists and audience members to our area.
