Arts & Culture Strategy
From 2018-2020, various nonprofit organizations met and devised the first-ever Arts and Culture plan for Collier County. This collaboration included Collier County Government, the Naples Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau and United Arts Collier. The mission of the plan is to evaluate, establish and successfully promote Collier County As an arts and culture destination.
The Arts and Culture sector is an important one to the County, with over 9,200 jobs for the creative class. According to the last Arts and Economic Prosperity Study completed by Americans for the Arts, Part of that sector the nonprofit arts and culture industry with over 1,800 jobs and an economic impact of $147.1 million.
